Help, Oh great ones! I'm working with out district administration to look at the size and age of our collections in terms of future budgets and I'm needing some data to support our requests. I have the SLJ article on the spending survey, but was wondering if you had data on the following: 1. Do you have a formula for your goal of how many books per student your library should have? 2. What is your spending formula on Library materials per student per year? 3. Do you look at the age of your collections when determining budgets? I need to determine if what we're currently spending is even in the ballpark of what's happening nationally. Thanks in advance!
