I have just had this idea and I need to come you all of you first. My idea was to
have my 11th and 12th grade Information Literacy students pair up with other
students from around the country (world) and research to find out more about their
areas. For example, if someone were willing to participate from Texas and Maine,
then my students could "research" that town, area, state to learn more about the
people on the other end. They could communicate back and forth but I would like my
student's research to be "validated" as correct by students from that area and vice
versa.
Am I explaining this right? Since I just had this thought, it would obviously need
some planning first, but would anyone be interested in brainstorming with me and
seeing if this would be a worthy cause?
