Being from northwest Iowa, an animal lover, and a librarian, I wanted to share how much I enjoyed reading Dewey: the Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World. Written by the library director, the book is about the eight week old kitten that was put in the book drop box at the Spencer, Iowa public librarary on a subzero night, and how the cat affected the lives of the staff and patrons. I loved it! It's no. 13 on the New York Times best seller list. Jo Sykes Odebolt-Arthur Comm.
