LM_NET Archive



The CBS /Sunday Morning/ show featured an 8 to 10 minute segment on 
Dewey and the author-librarian of the Spencer Public Library, but so 
far, apparently, CBS has not posted the video on its website, even 
though it did post its other Iowa item on the Britt hobo celebration.
Surprisingly, a Google search for "dewey the library cat" yields over 
120,000 hits.
According to the program, there are over 100 other cats patrolling 
various libraries, around the world.
In fact, there is even a group inspired by Dewey called the Library Cat 
Organization.
If you missed this heart-warming special and would like CBS to make it 
available on their website, here is the address that I used to contact
