Our 6th grade is completely changing their history curriculum next year. Instead of studying the Ancient World, they're now studying the Modern World, focusing specifically on Asia, Africa, the ME and possibly Latin America. They need a suggested reading list of modern fiction set in those areas. I've put together some titles, but thought you wonderful people would also have ideas. I'll be happy to post a hit.
