We have a Healthcare Science class in our school and the teacher just sent
me the email below asking for a list of 15 (or more) non-fiction books
that read like novels that deal with the patient-healthcare provider
relationship.
"I am trying to incorporate English/Language Arts in to Healthcare
Science I came up with the idea of having students do a "book review". I
would like to come up with a list of non-fiction novels that my students
could read and report on. I know of a few such as: Gifted Hands - The
Ben Carson Story, and The Gift of Pain. Could you help me come up with as
list of 10 to 15 books (more if you can) that I could use for this
assignment. Thanks in advance!
I am wanting them to read on a variety of topics - but primarily on
patient - healthcare provider relationships and interactions. I want
nonfiction books that read like a novel not all the textbooks and
guidebooks."
I am at a loss. Has anyone bought books for a high school Healthcare
Science class?
