[LM_NET] ADMIN: OT Postings

Welcome back to a new school year.  As you may have noticed, LM_NET traffic
is picking up as our members gear up for the year ahead.  That means busy
inboxes for our members once more.  We ask members to please keep postings
on topic and relevant to the focus of our forum: school libraries.  While it
may be easy to direct personal questions to a large group (13,000+ people!)
through a single email to the list, we must remind members to only post
messages that would be of interest to the majority of our members.  We
especially ask that you refrain from asking assistance in contests, etc for
friends and activities that are not related to school libraries.  Your help
in keeping our discussion focused on school libraries strengthens the
professional value of our listserv while assuring our members that
email they receive through the list is relevant to the topic to which they
subscribed.   Thanks for your assistance on this matter.

Here's to a wonderful school year and another year of lively, informative,
and useful discussions on LM_NET!
