LM_NET Archive

Hi All -
Just a quick update: many of you suggested looking up Jim Trelease (I'll review
his book) and Stephen Krashen and Krashen comes close, in my opinion. (If I were
trying to advocate for SSR (Sustained Silent Reading) I would use him for sure.)
But so far I haven't found THE article that supports what I need - a
well-researched/cited justification paper for letting students select their own
library books. If one of you finds such an article by Krashen - great! I still
have some other ideas you all posted to check out. Later, I will post a HIT -
hopefully with just the right thing! Margie
