[LM_NET] Finally got a job, have question about sub plans and resources

Good morning everyone,  I am over the moon because I got my first SLMS job.  I'm 
sure you will be hearing  a lot more from me because I know I will have a lot of 
questions.
 
The principal asked me how I would foster a love of reading....and the Super. told 
me that he doesn't want a traditional school librarian.  The key word is 
collaboration.
 
I am teaching grades 6-8.  What do you do for sub plans?  Are there any good 
resources you would recommend?  Any can't live without books?
