[LM_NET] TAR: advice on choosing leveled readers

Hi All - 

I have a K-2 special education teacher in my building who is interested in writing 
a $250 grant to purchase leveled readers for her room.  She is asking my advice on 
which ones to go with, but I don't buy these for our library so have no advice to 
share.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!  See below for the request:

I need some advice...I am going to write to the districts education foundation for 
the $250 4-block grant for 1st grade leveled readers. Any advice as to where I 
should get them? I have no clue where to even start looking. I want some science 
and history included in the leveled readers too, along with age appropriate 
interest. Any advice?
