For librarians in schools outside the US: would you have any comments or observations about the role of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child in the country in which you are working? December 10-17 is Human Rights Week internationally and you may be thinking about human rights, specifically child rights in that country. I don't know if your viewpoint will be significantly different if you are a native or someone from abroad working there. Do you have books about child rights in your library? Is it a topic in your curriculum? Thanks very much, in advance, for your help. Pat Bartoshesky retired- Highlands Elementary School Wilmington, Delaware PS How did the press conference go in Sweden? Would you want to share what poetry you ended up using? -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
