I was recently gifted with a new-to-me eMac; of course, I immediately thought of
setting it up at the circulation desk to show book trailers. My problem was that I
was having trouble finding trailers for books in my library. I wanted to have at
least an hour of material, otherwise having it on endless loop would get really
old. I found some on TeacherTube, and I downloaded some of Naomi Bates' wonderful
work, but I was still coming up short. Then I had two ideas/discoveries.

One thing I decided to do was to download movie trailers from iTunes for movies
based on books that I have. That got me Coraline, The Lightning Thief, A Christmas
Carol, and The Vampire's Assistant (yes, I could've done New Moon, but I figured
that one doesn't need any more promoting :)

I also found a channel on YouTube from a company that makes book trailers for
authors. They don't just do YA; you have to scroll through all the trailers, but I
found trailers for The Summoning and The Awakening by Kelley Armstrong, Jasper Dash
and the Flame Pits of Delaware by M.T. Anderson, Wish You Were Dead by Todd
Strasser, and Found by Margaret Peterson Haddix

For the YouTube videos I used Any Video Converter
(http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free/), a freeware product
that can directly download and convert YouTube videos.

Just thought I'd share, since I'd been banging my head on the desk trying to find
sufficient trailers. I'm still not quite there, but I'm on my way.
