I have been asked for a hit.
The consensus of respondents as well as many on-line reviews is that the
combination washer/dryers do work but may leave clothes on the damp side as well as
take an inordinate amount of time (five hours!) to complete their cycle. They also
only hold very small loads. So for me this is not the solution.

Since the space is small, only 33 inches tall, I am just going with the bare bones
portable whirlpool or kenmore dryer and replace the washer when that gives up.
Thank you everyone for giving this off-topic request your consideration.

Yours, Lisa Von Drasek

My clothes dryer bit the dust. I live in a small apartment in Brooklyn. The
repairman recommended this Washer/Dryer combination. There isn't much on-line or in
Consumer Reports about this new technology. My washer is going to go some time soon
(it has been repaired a few times and is making unhappy noises) My big fear is that
this combo doesn't really dry.
I could get just a dryer right now but... If this other thing really worked that
would solve my present and future problem.
Anyone out there in LM-Net land have one of these? Happy, sad, regretful?
