Subject: Target: Texting reserve notices

I am interested in starting to offer text messages for reserve books.
Right now we are using a paper system that is not all that efficient.
Since most the the students have cell phones, I would like to offer them
the option of having me text the notice. I have tested out
www.txt2day.com
and not found anything untoward on it.

Have any of you been texting library notices to middle schoolers? Pros
and
cons?

Thanks.

Nancy
