Greetings!

YALSA's Teen Tech Week is just two weeks away! As you gear up Press Play
@ your library and celebrate your libraries' nonprint resources March
8-14, don't forget to take advantage of our many publicity tools to let
your community and school district know your plans.

First, we have six great audio public service announcements featuring
Tom Kenny, the voice of SpongeBob Squarepants! These PSAs are perfect
for playing during your school's morning announcements, over your
library's loudspeakers or for submitting to the radio stations in your
community. All six are available as mp3 files and can be downloaded at
www.ala.org/teentechweek.

In addition, YALSA also offers customizable press releases, letters to
the editor and scripts for public service announcements. Add information
about your events and your community and use the tips on our Publicity
page at
http://www.ala.org/ala/mgrps/divs/yalsa/teentechweek/ttw09/publicity/pub
licity.cfm.

Finally, YALSA wants to know what you have planned for Teen Tech Week!
Visit the Teen Tech Week wiki at
http://wikis.ala.org/yalsa/index.php/Teen_Tech_Week_%40_your_library and
add your events and plans for your 2009 celebration (registration is
free and takes less than a minute).

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about
Teen Tech Week 2009!
