Hi all,

As soon as I get my head above the water with too many projects, I am going
to set up a Digital Citizenship Teachable Moment site. But for now, I am
using my blog (which has been woefully neglected because of my projects).

But you might have noticed the news. Prez O gets to keep his Blackberry.
Thankfully. I was more concerned about the idea that he would be forced to
give this up than the news that he smokes and is trying to quit.

The story makes a perfect teachable moment for students on distinguishing
between professional/educational activities and personal/social activities
as well as expectation of privacy. Just how private do they think any of
Prez O's email communications will be? Just how private do they think their
communications will be.

All best,
