[LM_NET] TECH HELP-LP 500 projector

Hope someone can help me out there, very frustrating problem. Our LP500 projector 
was borrowed last week, don't know what they hooked it up to, but since then, any 
laptop we use will only display 800 X 600 resolution, the native resolution of the 
projector. I cannot even change the resolution of the laptop while it's connected 
to the projector. When I disconnect the laptop, change the resolution, then 
reconnect it, it goes back to 800 X 600. I have tried every setting I could find, 
and can't seem to fix this. Any ideas?
