I am scheduled to do a project beginning with two gifted students at our
school using Google Earth. Here is the idea I have so far: to look at the
7Wonders site to see the 200 some nominees for the Natural Wonders of the
World and then have the students do some research, including using Google
Earth, so they can make their own choice of which Wonder they would choose
and create a persuasive PowerPoint presentation on their choice. Somehow,
though, that seems like I'm limiting our use of Google Earth to some extent
in this project.

I read David Gregorio's general ideas for using Google Earth, but I would
like to know if anyone has done specific lessons using it, and it doesn't
matter whether the lessons are for elementary or secondary. I will happily
post a HIT.
