A teacher sent me the following message this morning. I have most of a reply written, but I wanted to make sure I'm not forgetting anything. I'm telling her that of course she should cite her sources. My question, should the citation be on each page or can it be done all at the end? Teacher's email: >>>My class is working on their Student Treasure book. Our book is about shapes. >We are taking pictures of everyday 'things' to use to represent the shape they are >writing about. Here is my question. Some shapes (like an octagon) may be hard >for the student to find several examples that they can take a picture of. If we >find pictures on the internet or in a book or magazine, do we have to site those >places and if so how? I want to make sure since this will be sent to a publisher that we don't violate any 'rules'. I'm hoping to come up with enough pictures that we personally take, but I want to cover all bases. <<< Laura Burns Media Coordinator Rocky River Elementary Concord, NC 704-795-4505 lburns@cabarrus.k12.nc.us -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
