[LM_NET] Kindles at the Beach

Good Morning!

I have friends who live in the U.S. Virgin Islands. They are very interested in 
purchasing a Kindle, but have some questions about how well one would work in their 
environment, so any feedback anyone could give would be greatly appreciated.

Is the Kindle screen bright enough to read out in the sun? Have you noticed any 
particular issues when using it under humid conditions? Does the case seem tightly 
enough enclosed to keep out debris such as sand?
