Read the full article here. http://www.eschoolnews.com/news/top-news/index.cfm?i=58973 My comment was: (can take 24 hours for it to be posted) From what I read in this article many of the concerns with teachers and students needing help to use the available technology and information resources would have EASILY been handled by a full-time Teacher-Librarian on that campus. Which Microsoft deemed unnecessary in the development and implementation of this school of the future. The consequences are just as reported; people are not receiving the one-on-one help and support they need to achieve the desired levels of competency in information literacy skills. This is proof positive that the results of the library surveys conducted around the country are correct!
