[LM_NET] Target: 2nd grade level books

Greetings, wise ones!
        I'm already in summer mode and am feeling a bit brain dead.  I've had a
request from some second grade teachers who are working on the writing
curriculum for suggestions on support materials.  They're wanting title
suggestions for books that show children as authors, anything that shows a
writer's notebook  or journal.  The third grade uses Amelia's notebook. 
They are also looking for titles of persuasive literature.  Any ideas
would certainly be appreciated!
