Dear All- I am hunting for something in the way of a pamphlet or fact sheet that would succinctly explain what HIV is and how it is transmitted, not for people who have contracted it,rather for people who are suddenly faced with sharing space with an AIDs support group. These are mostly older adults who are not about to hit the internet themselves and simply have little experience with the subject. If there's anything on the American Medical Association website, I couldn't locate it. The website for the Gay Men's Health Crisis is very much geared to patients. Any help here would be much appreciated.
