Good morning all: I am in the midst of ordering my books for next year's Battle competition and while I saw some lists in the archives, I am hoping for something really new. I am especially interested in non-fiction books for both grades 4-5 and 6-7. I really don't want to do any history books since that is what I usually do, though I have also thrown in some poetry. If anyone has any great books that the kids have truly loved that covers science (for example) I would love to hear about them. Any other books that were published in the last year or so that are truly spectacular? I am open to suggestions at this point in time. The only things to keep in mind are that we are Christian school and we are made up of mostly non-Americans so the history books should cover some other part of the world other than the US. Asia would be best... Thanks for any help anyone can give me and enjoy your summer break.
