Hi Colleagues,

I'm delighted to share that Esme Raji Codell
http://www.planetesme.com/ is hosting a brunch in my honor in Chicago
the Friday (July 10) of ALA. Here's Esme's announcement. I hope
that some of you will want to attend.

The PlanetEsme Bookroom Meets Buzzeo Brunch

Starring world famous librarian and author, Toni Buzzeo!
Hosted by Esme Raji Codell, PlanetEsme.com
Friday, July 10th, 10:30 a.m. To 1:00 p.m.

Yes, what better way to celebrate the American Library Association's
convention in Chi-town than by getting the shmoozapalooza started
early in Chicago's literary living room, the unique children's
literary salon in the highly un-convention-al Rogers Park
neighborhood? Please join us for bagels and brilliance as we feature
author and librarian Toni Buzzeo (http://www.tonibuzzeo.com), yes,
one of the most famous and celebrated author/librarians of all time
and creator of the "Mrs. Skorupski" books, that's right, THAT Toni
Buzzeo, and mingle and munch in the company of other pedagogical and
publishing legends and legends-to-be.

The PlanetEsme Bookroom is a private venue and space to this event is
very limited, so RSVP by June 27 via e-mail to esme(at)
ripco(dot)com with the subject line "Buzzeo Brunch," and you'll
receive a confirmation reply with the exact address after the 29th.
The event is for grown-ups. Admission is free, but we do ask that
attendees purchase at least one title, available at the event, in
support of our special guest.

Hope to see you there!
