I have a last second request. A pair of 8th grade teachers (ELA and Social
Studies) just emailed me to ask if I'd meet with them at 10, and I'd like to
go with some ideas. We're going to be doing a couple of different projects
to prepare for the 8th grade trip to Washington DC, but the one I'm a little
stumped on is finding resources, preferably "cool" or fun ones, on
monuments, memorials, and/or museums. Basically, in the past, kids have
behaved badly or not been respectful when visiting the monuments (Lincoln,
Washington, Vietnam, etc.) and various museums. If you know of anything
that might be remotely helpful, send it along! This seems like a pretty
long shot, but LMnet is usually the place to go for longshots...

TIA,
Lauren
