[LM_NET] Target: RF security system info

Hello LM_Net'ers,

I am looking for a security solution for my library in order to stop  
the loss of books that walk out the door without being checked out.   
I am considering the purchase of an RF (radio frequency) system from  
Integrated Technology Group, a division of Vernon Library Supplies.    
Their Vector Single Pedestal System (clear acrylic) w/ baseplate plus  
all of the necessary "accouterments"  for my library will run a bit  
over $4K.

If you have any insights into the effectiveness of the system - or  
other benefits or drawbacks of this or other security systems, please  
let me hear from you.  If there is interest I will post a hit.
