Several students just came in and headed right for the computers. We had a line of thunderstorms move through earlier, so all the machines were off. Most of the students were able to boot the computers and log in. One student, though, was having trouble logging in. We've had problems recently with some machines not completely logging students off, so that when they try to log in somewhere else they can't. I mentioned that as a possibility, but the student said that wasn't the case. She then looked at what she had typed, and announced to everyone in the library "I misspelled my name!" I told her that she wasn't the first one to have that problem, and probably won't be the last. -- David Lininger, kb0zke MS/HS Librarian Skyline MS/HS Urbana, MO 65767 (417) 993-4226 t i g e r l i b r a r i a n at g m a i l dot c o m -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
