Dear All- two parent questions about books that are escaping me:

1. Parent says this is an old book, maybe from the 60's- little boy finds a magic
lantern, gets three wishes- his third wish is always for ten more wishes, annoyed
fairy has to honor it, pattern apparently repeats.

2. This one sounds familiar, fairly sure its relatively recent. Duck, Goose or some
such finds a round object, tries to hatch it , turns out to be a ball.
