[LM_NET] Tar: Books About Legos

I have a 5th grader who will be starting a research project in a couple
weeks on Legos.  In preparation I am hoping to get a book that he can use.
Does anyone know any book that covers information about the company,
manufacturing, etc rather than just how to build lego creations?  The
searches I've come up with have tended to either be fiction based on Lego IP
or guides to building structures.
