[LM_NET] OT: Artomatic, Washington D.C.

This is off topic, but will probably appeal to those of you who are interested in 
art. 
 
Artomatic is a biennial art show in the Washington D.C. area that is an amazing 
experience. If you're in Maryland, Virginia, or D.C., or visiting the area, you 
might be interested in seeing it.
 
This year, the tenth Artomatic will be held May 29 to July 5 at Half Street's 55 M 
Street, S.E., in Washington, D.C.'s Capitol Riverfront neighborhood.

Admission is free for visitors.
 
Each year, there are anywhere from 600-1000 artists exhibiting. The show is 
unjuried, which means that there is a wide range of talent -- some of the art is 
excellent, some not so good, but you'll see art that you would never find in a 
museum.

I've spent hours at the last two Artomatics and wish I had had time to see more. In 
a way, the experience is like browsing through the internet, looking for treasure.
