My principal is very interested in being sure we have the most current
technology. He is now doing a fundraiser. However, he is interested in
getting our classroom teachers large screen TV's (old TVs are
small/outdated). My first impulse is to do a survey to see if they
REALLY watch any of the cable stations we receive (state educational TV,
etc) or do they just use it for VHS/DVD's. (He is positively going to
buy DVD players for teachers) He is thinking that we can connect
AverKey's to the TV to connect teachers computers for large screen
viewing instead of getting SmartBoard (or I believe in plain
whiteboards with a projector and Airliner's-much cheaper-Maybe) I
KNOW there are more TECH Savy folks out there and for some reason, I'm
not inclined to spend the money on the large screen TV-computer ready
quite expensive -but I have no idea - I do not have a large screen at
home and am clueless to their advantages, maybe they are all computer
ready. My son connects his laptop to his to watch movies.

So please ideas, thoughts, opinions!!! The best way to spend our tech
funds to get current technology in our classrooms?? Large Screen
TV/Whiteboard Projector/Airliner(or similar product
