Hi Everyone: I deeply appreciate the value of LM_Net! I've been asking the following question, and haven't found anyone w/ any suggestions. If any of you have any recommendation for resources that I could use to answer the following question, I'd be very appreciative! I was reading the article, "Why the Internet Is No Substitute For a Library" [ http://www.ala.org/ala/alonline/resources/selectedarticles/10reasonswhy.cfm ]http://www.ala.org/ala/alonline/resources/selectedarticles/10reasonswhy.cfm, and the article mentions that "8% of all journals are on the Web, and an even smaller fraction of the books are there." I was just wondering if any of you have ever heard of an estimate of the percentage of information on the Internet compared to the total amount of human knowledge?
