Thanks to all who responded to my question.  Not a cataloger, I've
learned something new today:  fiction can be cataloged in the
non-fiction section.

 

The characters are fictional.  The story is based on an actual person's
account of the gypsy persecution in WWII.  Dewey classification centers
around 940.53-- and 940.54.
