[LM_NET] Nature Notebook Story Books

The first week of June is the last week of school for us.  We always have
"camp days" that last week.  I have had a teacher come to me and wants some
books to go along with this nature scavenger hunt she's going to have her
kids do.  She wants "funny or  fiction" not non-fiction.  So, I need some
recommendations of books that fit this criteria on these subjects.  One book
that covers more than one subject would be even better. :)

   - Leaves
   - rocks
   - flowers
   - little animals
   - big animals
   - bugs
   - birds
   - fish
   - reptiles

Thanks in advance for any and all recommendations.
