My seventh grade teachers are looking for historical fiction about the Middle Ages. They've used Crispin a couple times, but the kids don't really like it, and it's a little hard for a lot of the students. Catherine Called Birdy is "girly." I've searched the archives, but it doesn't seem like there has been recent discussion about this topic. Do you have any books to recommend? -- Sandra Lingo, Librarian Delhi Middle School 5280 Foley Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45238 slingo47@fuse.net -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
