Hi everyone, I am trying to come up with something different to use as library cards and I was wondering about paint sticks (I saw in the archives where these are sometimes used as shelf markers. Has anyone tried using these as a library card. I was thinking of taping the child's barcode to the paint stick and then they would have a library card and shelf marker in one. I have been using index cards, but the students bend them up so bad that my scanner cannot read them or it misreads them causing errors. If you do not think paint sticks will work, do you have any other suggestions?
