Looking for policies from school boards ( i.e. boards of education)
relating to the care and replacement of library materials. Our
current board policy is that materials loaned to students for their
use ( textbooks, mainly, but we are counting library materials in
that) , must be returned or report cards will be held. Looking for
how other districts may word their policy about -- replacement costs,
penalties, borrowing procedures, as specific to library materials.
Wondering how other districts word this, so we can see about asking
the board for such a policy .
