[LM_NET] Recipe: cake- very simple but extraordinarly good

The grahams and pb make all the difference; we would rather have no other
on our birthday

*Grandma Alles' Graham Cracker Cake and Peanutbutter Frosting*

(Recipe only makes one layer pan; you'll probably want to double or go
+50%.)

1.) CREAM:
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup sugar
2 egg yolks

2.) SIFT & ADD TO #1:
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup flour
2 & 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

3.) ADD TO ABOVE (1+2) & MIX:
1 cup graham cracker crumbs (about 13 crackers)
3/4 cup milk
2 stiffly beaten egg whites

Preheated 375-degree oven - about 25 minutes - one greased layer pan.
Cupcakes - about 15 minutes.

PEANUT BUTTER FROSTING

MIX:
2 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons peanut butter
6 tablespoons milk
Confectionary sugar to desired consistency (3 & 1/2 cups or less)
