preheat oven to 350*
grease a 13X9 pan
one loaf cinnamon raisin bread (or any fruit-nut bread of your choice)
1 lb cream cheese - softened
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
1 jar fruit JAM or PRESERVES (your favorite flavor- I used apricot)
6 eggs beaten with 1/2 cup milk or cream
beat together cream cheese vanilla and sugar
with 2 sliced of bread make sandwiches of cream cheese mixture jam cream cheese
dip each sandwich in egg batter and place in 13X9 pan - you should be able to get 2
rows of 3 sandwiches you can cut the sandwiches to make them fit better.
place into a 350* oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until top is golden and
bubbly. Let rest 5 minutes before cutting to serve.
This can be made the night before and cooked the next morning.
