4 slices soft white or wheat bread, torn into small pieces 2/3 cup white sugar (or part Splenda) 1 egg, lightly beaten 1/4 cup milk 1/2 stick butter or oleo, melted (NOT lite) 1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray 8x8" baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. Spread bread pieces in bottom of pan, sprinkle with sugar. Add egg, milk, and melted butter, stir until all bread pieces are moistened. Stir in pineapple, mix completely. Bake in 350 degree oven about 35 minutes, until bubbly and just crusty around the edges. You may bake a little longer at a lower temperature if baking with other dishes. This can be served as either a side dish or a dessert. -- Heidi Landskroener H.Landskroener@gmail.com Librarian, St. John Lutheran School South Euclid OH Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant www.marykay.com/hlandskroener Library Assistant, Cleveland Public Library www.cpl.org -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
