Hi LM_NETers,
We just found out a student from Russia will be starting in a sixth grade
classroom next Monday. We don't know a lot about her except that her English is
limited. Her new teacher just came down looking for ideas, materials (we have
nothing in Russian) and thoughts on how to make her feel welcome and comfortable.
If any of you have suggestions, books or websites you could recommend we would
really appreciate it. Thanks so much!
