Good afternoon,
I need your assistance! The ALSDE is working with a new project to involve Girls in
Math and Science. I was thrilled when I was asked to provide a list of suitable
young adult books that would be used in connection with this project. We, library
media specialists, have been recognized as an integral part of the project!
The topic: Strong women characters who have overcome (great) odds to be
successful/high achievers.
I would appreciate all suggestions!
