Dear Linda and other readers,
I am a Board Member of the ENSIL Foundation (European Network for School 
Libraries and Information Literacy).  I will circulate your message to the 
participants on our list.  They come from many different countries in 
Europe.  I hope some of them will respond.

I think it is really important that we all learn more about school libraries 
in other parts of ths world - there are all kinds of things we can learn 
from each other.  If any readers are interested in ENSIL, please look at our

The librarians in my school district, Lewisville, received an interesting 
challenge from our coordinator to "talk to someone about school libraries in 
their country".   So, if any of you out there are interested in talking 
about your libraries with me, please respond!  If I receive several 
responses (I am hopeful!), I will share them with other librarians in our 
district!  I am excited about this!

I have a pen pal in Sweden!  We have been writing letters for over 40 years!

I am looking forward to hearing about your library programs, particularly 
for students 5 to 10 years old.
