Not a silly question and not egotistical! I do think it is helpful for individuals to respond directly to the original person and then THAT person posts a HIT with the compiled suggestions/responses. That keeps the list less busy with traffic but also lets everyone benefit from the collected contributions. That is a win/win and keeps traffic down. I realize I just broke that rule myself by replying to the original person and the whole list, but I wanted to remind everyone about the usefulness of the HIT of the whole set of suggestions that we can all share after the responses are collected by one person. As a reminder, if someone is in REVIEW status, and I see a reply directly to the original poster, I delete the one that goes to the entire list, for the above reasons. Another reminder, please check your email signatures to make sure you have ALL the required components in it: 1. Name 2. Occupation/Job Title/Worksite (including city/state) 3. E-MAIL ADDRESS Thank you to everyone who contributes to this vibrant community! Hi Guys - Everytime I answer someone who posts a question, I notice that my reply goes directly to that person. I have noticed however, that sometimes peoples' replies are posted to everyone... how do you do that? Sometimes my answer might be something others would like to read as well. (didn't mean for that to sound so egotistical) ;) Thanks, Katie -- Katie Monroe Media Specialist Ellis Elementary School 250 Illini Drive Belleville, IL 62223 618-397-5512 618-397-4348 (f) www.harmony175.org -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
