Hi, Everyone - Has anyone else had problems ordering materials from
the Linworth website since they became part of ABC-CLIO? I ordered
Big6 materials from the website almost a month ago. My account was
billed the day I ordered them, and I waited two weeks before
contacting ABC-CLIO via email to find out the status of the order.
Someone responded indicating my email had been forwarded to the
appropriate person. When I did not hear from anyone after a couple of
days, I called. They had no record of my order but called later to
indicate that they had located the order on the website based on the
order number I had provided and that it would be shipped that day. I
received it several days later, but the order was incomplete. Now it
appears I will have to contact them again. In the meantime, I
concluded the unit that I ordered these materials to support before I
ever received them. Resolving this has become very frustrating and
time consuming. I would appreciate advice from anyone who has had a
similar experience with this vendor. Thanks.
