This was made available to us through our state's librarian listserv regarding primary sources available for use through the Library of Congress for Veterans Day. I thought some of you might be looking for ideas. Veterans' Stories: The Veterans History Project and Veterans' Stories: Struggles for Participation let veterans tell their stories firsthand through interviews, diaries, photographs, and drawings. All these items were collected by the Veterans History Project, and they're accompanied by teacher guides and analysis tools that make them easy to use in the classroom.
