Colleagues,
I am relatively new to the profession and have not had the opportunity to attend
many conferences where authors are presenting. I have been relying on Harper
Collins and other publishing house sites for authors to contact. In addition, I
have visited sites such as AuthorsForSchoolVisits.com . I have a list of
"Pennsylvania authors" which may be a little dated. Could anyone please give me
some advice, leads, or resources they have found useful in setting up author
visits?
In addition, if you recognize the school district in which I am employed or know
the area (Lancaster County, PA) and are interested in sharing an author to help
defray costs, please contact me off list.
At this time, I am also wondering if anyone was had Wendy Pfeffer present to your
school. Were you pleased with the presentation?
