[LM_NET] [LM-NET] TAR: Picture books in Japanese

Greetings,

Beginning this year Japanese will be taught at our school (K-5). We have
many books on Japan and Japanese culture. However, the Japanese teachers
would like to be able to read some picture books to the students, in
Japanese. Does anyone know where I could purchase American published books
translated into Japanese (Dr. Seuss, Eric Carle, etc.) and Japanese
picture books published in Japan?  Are there any librarians in Japan that
could suggest any picture books that are popular in Japan? Thank you for
any information.
