I guess my problem with this is as librarians do we need to now have signed slips 
from parents if we want our students to watch a video from an author?  Or does a 
science or math teacher need to get permission now to teach the metric system 
because we don't use it? Could this be an agenda to corrupt our students - please 
take a look around you and see that for the most part the good that most students 
learn, they learn in school.

I live in an area of the country were it is very republican and we have had a 
number of parents livid with the thought that we will show it.  I truly think it is 
a sad day for our students and our country when people can be so disrespectful to 
the Commander-and-Chief of our country, what does that teach our students about 
respecting people?
